Knysna Tourism invites everyone to come and visit Knysna during May and June 2006. To make this dream a reality an exciting project has been launched called “Knysna on Sale”.
CEO of Knysna Tourism, Craig Nancarrow, has this to say “Knysna is a fantastic destination all year round and should be experienced by everyone. We have therefore initiated this campaign where many of the businesses in Knysna are getting together and putting their products on sale during the months of May and June 2006. Everything from accommodation to activities, restaurants to retail – every sector is getting involved and we look forward to this campaign being a great success”.
Knysna, twice voted Engen Town of the Year, is a wonderland of natural beauty and the perfect place for a mid year getaway for many target markets. Outdoor enthusiasts can cycle along a number of well-marked trails through the forest. Romantic couples can take a sunset cruise on a charter boat while enjoying some local oysters, a glass or two of champagne and the unbelievable beauty of Knysna. Families are encouraged to use Knysna as their preferred weekend break. Empty nesters, that no longer have children in the house, can take a mid week trip to this beautiful town and marvel at the sight of some of the rarest and most beautiful birds they’ll ever see. Golfer’s can tee off in paradise. From Lagoon Views to Elephant encounters – Knysna has something for everyone.
With May and June bringing with it some of the best weather that Knysna has to offer, it only makes sense that as many domestic travelers as possible should get to enjoy it.
